About Me
Nick Boswell has been perfecting his photography skills since his days in the United States Navy. Nick ran the television studio on board his ship and was the ship's photographer. After his tour of duty in the Navy, Nick attended San Diego State University where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Nick never forgot his love of photography and so15 years ago he decided to follow his passion. Nick opened his first studio in Pasadena in 1995 and moved to his present location in 1998 in the Mission Village of San Marino, California.
Nick has been commissioned to work in numerous locations around the world including, London,England, Lake Como, Italy and Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, to name just a few. He enjoys creating images that will become family heirlooms.
Nick works closely with many charities in the Pasadena area - Huntington Hospital Fall Food and Wine Committee, Kidspace, Planned Parenthood, Aids Service Center and many more, too numerous to list here.
Nick loves all of the different sides of photography - family, children, maternity, weddings and commercial photography including product, fashion and food photography having done work for China Glaze and The Junior League of Pasadena Cookbook. Nick's editorial images have been featured in many magazines and newspapers.
His objective is to capture sincere and honest images in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Nick's goal is to create the expressions which reveal a hint of your family or child's personality. He has always tried to capture images that tell a story about his subjects - his approach to photography is relaxed with a sense of humor.
